CCAA 2013 NATIONAL SPECIALTY---*****NEW UPDATE ON JUDGES *****
The Cane Corso Association of America is proud to announce the results of the first round of Judges voting for the 2013 National Specialty. The following 5 judges received the most votes during the initial balloting.
Nancy Amburgy, Ron Pock, Gay Kuehnel Hisatake, Catherine Daugherty, Bill Hossler
We now enter the final voting process were members in good standing have a single vote for one judge. This process will run from January 1, 2012 to March 16, 2012.The top vote getter will do the National Specialty with the runner up being awarded the Eastern Regional Specialty. The judges will be announced at the 2012 Cane Corso Association of American Awards Banquet.

A full report containing all ballots cast will be sent to the AKC on Tuesday January 3, 2012. Thank you to those members who participated in this phase of our 2013 judge’s selection process and a special thank you to those judges who agreed to have their names submitted for consideration.

National Specialty Judges' Bios
The following is the list of judges nominated for the 2013 CCAA National Specialty. Any judges names that were submitted but do not appear on this list would be due to;
a) they did not accept the nomination,
b) at the time of nomination not approved to judge the breed in the AKC
c) have judged the Nationals within the last 10 years
d) the committee was unable to locate or contact the submitted judge
-Judges that do not have bio's attached to their names did not submit one for this process
The following is the criteria for the selection process;
Voting is open to all CCAA members in good standing.
-October 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011 a list of eligible and interested nominee’s will be submitted to the general membership to vote on.
-January 1, 2012 to March 16, 2012. The top five vote getters will then be sent to the general membership to once again vote on. The top vote getter will do the National Specialty with the runner up being awarded the Eastern Regional Specialty.
-The judges will be announced at the 2012 Cane Corso Association of American Awards Banquet in Las Vegas.
