National Specialty
The CCAA is proud to announce that its 20th Annual National Specialty show will be in the North east, back where it all started. It seems all the stars are in alignment as the CCAA is celebrating its 20th anniversary at the same time it is holding its first ever AKC licensed National Specialty!
The search has begun to select the 2013 National and Regional Specialty judges. The selection process is as follows:
Judges nominations will be taken from June 1, 2011 to September 1, 2011. The nominations should be sent to ronhoser@gmail.com
Each member can submit up to 3 judges. They must be approved by the AKC (provisional is acceptable) to judge the Cane Corso at the time of the submission. You can see a list of the eligible judges @ http://www.infodog.com/judges/jdd33500.htm
From September 2, 2011 to September 30, 2011 the nominee's with be vetted for eligibility, availability and interest.
October 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011 a list of eligible and interested nominee's will be submitted to the general membership to vote on.
January 1, 2012 to April 1, 2012. The top five vote getters will then be sent to the general membership to once again vote on. The top vote getter will do the National Specialty with the runner up being awarded the Eastern Regional Specialty.
