2024 CCAA National Specialty

In an effort to provide the most recent developments regarding the Cane Corso Association of America’s 2024 National Specialty weekend, below is some great information to help you navigate through everything going on during the cluster!  As previously announced, the Cane Corso Association of America’s 2024 National Specialty weekend will be held in conjunction with the Northern Neck Kennel Club Of Virginia and Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club in Doswell, Virginia, from Thursday, August 22, 2024 to Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the Meadow Event Park (13191 Dawn Blvd, Doswell, Virginia 23047).
 
As in prior years, the CCAA is making sponsorship of trophies available to all and our trophy sponsorship website can be found here: https://www.payit2.com/p/2024ccaa! 
 
The superintendent for all shows is InfoDog/MBF, Inc. and all entries can be made at https://infodog.com/entry/.  Each show must be entered individually and each sweepstakes must be entered as a separate class.  Entries close Wednesday, August 7th, 2024.
 
This guide will be updated as new information becomes available.  Below is a schedule of events updated as of July 05, 2024:
 
THURSDAY, 08.22.2024:  
FRIDAY, 08.23.2024:
  • The CCAA will hold it 2024 Annual Membership Meeting via a virtual meeting.
    • Room Virtual – The location will be via an electronic virtual meeting. RSVP’s will be required in order for invitations with the link to the meeting to be sent out.  Links to the meeting may not be forwarded.  Also accepted with the RSVP will be any potential agenda items that you, as a member in good standing, would like to discuss.  RSVP’s must include the email and phone number for the member in good standing to allow verification during login to the meeting.  Please send RSVP’s and potential agenda items directly to [email protected].
    • Time TBD – Additional notice will be sent once the time is finalized.  The time will be dependent on the Cane Corso Ring Time for that day.
    • Only CCAA Members in good standing are allowed to be in attendance, per Article II, Section 1 of the CCAA Bylaws.  The quorum for the meeting shall be 10% of the members in good standing.

  • The CCAA will hold its 2024 Eastern Regional Specialty on Friday in conjunction with the Northern Neck Kennel Club Of Virginia.
   
  • The CCAA will hold its 2024 CCAA Breeder’s Cup Invitational and Young Prospect Challenge.
    • Judges:
      • Mr. Hal Biermann
      • Mr. Ron Hoser
      • Ms. Vickie Venzen
    • To be held at the end of all breed judging in the same ring as the Cane Corso breed judging.  Additional details will be provided once the all-breed judging program is released.
    • The Cane Corso Association of America will be providing light refreshments and hors d’oeuvres from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
    • Entries close 11:59am EST on August 14th, 2024.  Entries made for the Breeder’s Cup Invitational AFTER JULY 24TH will not receive a personalized participation rosette.  Personalized participation rosettes are only for Breeder's Cup Invitational entries.

SATURDAY, 08.24.2024:
  • The CCAA will hold its 2024 National Specialty on Saturday in conjunction with the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club.

    • Puppy and Veteran Sweepstakes Judge Mr. Mark Darwish
    • Obedience and Rally trials – the Cane Corso Association of America supports the entry
