ENTER THE 2024 YOUNG PROSPECT CHALLENGE

What is the CCAA Young Prospect Challenge?

The CCAA Young Prospect Challenge is a non-AKC event where the entrants are limited to any dog or bitch, 6 months to 18 months of age, that has not yet earned an AKC Championship title by the event closing date.  All entries will be judged by the same Breeder's Cup Invitational judging panel and in the same format of a numerical scored critique.  The dog or bitch with the highest combined score will win the challenge and receive a rosette and plaque at the CCAA awards banquet.

Although this is a non-AKC event, the CCAA asks that potential Judge/Handler conflicts of interest be handled in accordance with the AKC’s 4 month rule detailed on page 4 of its “Rules Policies and Guidelines for Conformation Dog Show Judges” booklet.
