As the official American Kennel Club Parent Breed Club for the Cane Corso in the United States, we took this task extremely seriously and feel these revisions will help clarify important aspects of our breed for our judges, breeders and enthusiasts alike. Our current newsletter has a brief article explaining the breed standard revision process. Recently on social media, a copy of an initial rough draft of our breed standard revision was posted without the knowledge nor the permission of the club. This rough draft was not the final breed standard revision that will be sent to our membership for a vote. When the final revised standard is presented - there will be ways for members to ask any and all questions and voice any and all concerns prior to voting. We want your feedback. The CCAA encourages working together as a unified group of Cane Corso fanciers to allow us to reach our goals of not only preserving but bettering our great breed. I have talked to many people over the last two years about the standard revisions and I am happy to do so for any member that would like to contact me personally. Thank you!
