Congratulations to GCHS CH CastleGuard’s Riddle Of Steel At Serafina CGC aka *CROM* for winning the 2020 CCAA Member’s Choice Award! Thank you to all the members who took the time to vote for this award! This was a tight race between 2 very deserving candidates! Crom will be presented with his plaque at the Awards Banquet at our 2021 National Specialty! Congratulations to Elizabeth Salewsky for Crom’s achievements! Below is Crom’s impressive bio:
“The tale of Crom and Elizabeth is heartwarming and delightful. Crom went to live with Elizabeth at a young age and together, they earned a top 5 in the nation and even won Breed at Westminster. Usually, that would be the end of a prestigious career. But in Crom's case, it pales in comparison to the rest of the story. Crom and Elizabeth have become some of the Corso community's most recognized faces through their fun-loving performances. Crom is an easy-going, sweet ambassador for the Breed whose good nature enables him to handle every situation. He is an unofficial therapy dog, but he and Elizabeth visit nursing homes, police precincts, and schools, bringing joy. Crom has represented the Breed in media, often. He and Elizabeth have been featured on 5 different Television programs. Crom, ever the diplomat, has won over the hearts of people far beyond the Corso community as well. When COVID19 shut down all of the dog sporting world, Elizabeth and Crom responded by putting out weekly videos filled with antics and laughter and have a website: https://cromicles.com/. People all over the AKC world tuned in to The Cromicles and fell in love with this duo. As a result, The Canine Chronicle magazine has made Crom and Elizabeth part of the press corps. They now travel around reporting on events and interviewing the Dog world, always bringing entertainment and humor, supporting us all through this dark time. Very few Cane Corsos have reached beyond the Breed's community and touched so many. Please consider voting for "Crom the Corso" as the 2020 CCAA Members' Choice! -Elizabeth Salewsky” Comments are closed.
