2022 CCAA Member’s Choice Winner!

Congratulations to AKC Major Pointed U-CH Stoneheart’s I Aim to Misbehave CGCA TKN RN DCAT CA FDC ATT TT DJ DSA BH aka *SERENITY* for winning the 2022 CCAA Member’s Choice Award!  Thank you to all the members who took the time to vote for this award!  This was a tight race among 3 very deserving candidates!  Serenity will be presented with her plaque at the Awards Banquet at our 2023 National Specialty!  Congratulations to Brandy Barbour for Serenity’s achievements!  Below is Serenity’s impressive bio:
 
“Often, dogs grow to meet their namesake, and Serenity is no exception.  She is AKC Major Pointed U-CH Stoneheart’s I Aim to Misbehave CGCA TKN RN DCAT CA FDC ATT TT DJ DSA BH- And over the last 3 years, misbehave she has!
 
Serenity has immense drive in everything she does.  From dock diving to coursing to bitework and obedience- She gives me 100% each time we hit the field together.  Her enthusiasm is one of her greatest assets- But I am still learning to harness it as her partner and handler.  Her drive has caused me to fall face first or take a full-on dog body slam more than I can count.
 
She truly embodies the utilitarian nature of the breed.  She has been successful in the show ring, in multiple sports, participated in several AKC Meet the Breed events, passed several temperament tests with flying colors, and has proven herself a wonderful brood female in the whelping box.  Her desire to work is so intense that she was training in IGP halfway through her pregnancy, and needed a mere 6 weeks post whelp before she hit the field again full force!
 
There are no perfect dogs- and Serenity is far from perfect.  She is, however, a true ambassador to the breed with grit, determination, and most of all, a heart of gold.  She is the best partner I could have asked for- And I am honored that she was nominated for the Member’s Choice Award. – Brandy Barbour”
