Bylaw Vote Announcement for CCAA Members

Attention all CCAA Members – On April 24th all members who have chosen to vote via email will receive their 2023 Constitution and Bylaw Amendment Ballot.  For members who have chosen to vote via mail please look for your ballots to arrive via USPS mail.  The vote will remain open for 45 days and a favorable vote of 2/3 of the members who return valid ballots is required for an amendment to pass.
 
There are many changes that the Bylaw committee and the CCAA board have for your consideration.  The ballot is laid out with underlines as additions and strike-throughs being removals.  In addition to these, you will also see some areas which are highlighted in yellow.  Those changes are the ones that the AKC is requiring.  If those AKC required changes are passed, the CCAA  will be able to move forward with the AKC and become a full AKC Parent club.
