Fellow CCAA Members and Corso Enthusiasts,
The Cane Corso Association of America's Board of Directors made the unanimous decision during our September 2020 Board call to cancel the remaining 2020 designated Regional Specialties. Since the host kennel clubs themselves cancelled our Western Regional in Colorado and our Eastern Regional in New Jersey, we felt it would be unfair to the membership for only certain regions to have Regional Specialties. We believe this may present an unfair advantage to the remaining regions that have not and may not be cancelled for purposes of annual conformation awards. Additionally, the Cane Corso Association of America's Board of Directors made the unanimous decision during our September 2020 Board call to err on the side of caution and prudently assign all 2021 designated Regional Specialties in the second half of 2021 only in an effort to decrease the potential of designated 2021 Regional Specialties being cancelled as occurred in 2020. As details are available, we will make them available on our website and all our social media outlets within the next few months. Thank you for understanding and we appreciate your patience.
